  437. public-domain application for exploring the Mandelbrot set and other 
  438. fractals The biggest enhancement since version 3.0.2 (June '91) is the 
  439. addition of a Lempel-Ziv data compressor.  This compressor can be used to 
  440. reduce the size of MandelZot dwell-save files... the data is compressed 
  441. when it's saved, and is expanded (losslessly) when the file is opened and
